Baldhead Custom Line - Quality Rating 6 - Baldhead makes quality steel cabinets.  Baldhead uses slightly higher quality hardware than the other cabinet
lines.  Cabinets are constructed with double wall side and door panels.  Baldhead cabinets are rated for heavy duty use and they offer many modular sizes and
color options.  The main negative for the Baldhead line is the high cost.

Saber Magnum Cabinet Line - Quality Rating 5 - Saber Magnum Cabinets are rated equal to the 18 gauge New Age Professional Line.  The main difference
is that some Saber units require assembly.   Saber Cabinets have double wall side panels, reinforced door panels, and all cabinets are
wall-mount ready.
Saber Cabinets offers more choices on base and storage cabinets.   With full extension drawer slides, double slides on large drawer, euro-style hinges and
reinforced shelving/door panels - Saber Cabinets are rated for heavy duty use.

New Age Professional Line - Quality Rating 5 - IMPORTANT NOTE - The New Age Professional Line is offered with two different metal thicknesses - 1.2 mm
(18 gauge) and 0.6 mm (24 gauge).  As a reference, (see Steel Thickness Chart below) the 24 gauge cabinets are fairly flimsy and have one-half the steel
thickness as the 18 gauge cabinets.
The better quality 18 gauge cabinets are used in the comparison chart.  New Age cabinets come assembled.  A couple of
negative features are wall mounting issues and the doors use pin style butt hinges.  The pin on these style of hinges is susceptible to premature rusting and does
not allow for subsequent adjustment or re-alignment of door panels. New Age only offers one size storage cabinet.

New Age Performance Plus Line - Quality Rating 4 - IMPORTANT NOTE - The new Age Performance Line is offered in two different metal thicknesses:  1.0
mm (19 gauge) and 0.6 mm (24 gauge).  As a reference, the 24 gauge cabinets are fairly flimsy and have 40% less thickness than the 19 gauge cabinets.
The
better quality 20 gauge cabinets are used in the comparison chart.
The Performance Line is the newest New Age Cabinet Line and the quality is somewhat
reduced from the Professional Line and has received a lower quality rating.  Some of the negatives are: less cabinet size choice than the Professional line,
upper/overhead storage cabinet is quite small, and storage cabinet doors only use 3 euro-hinges (Saber uses 4).  Handle style is a bit dated and overhead bin
style doors on the upper cabinets are not as functional as the traditional side by side door panels.

Gladiator Premier Cabinet Line - Quality Rating 3 - The Whirlpool Gladiator line has the lowest overall quality of all cabinets listed. Gladiator cabinets were
only included in the comparison because many customers have seen the cabinets at big box retailers so they provide a baseline for comparing other brands.
Cabinets come assembled/welded on rollers.  Storage and wall cabinets require a special bracket to wall mount and cabinet back do not fit flush against the wall.
Overall, the Premier cabinet sized do not integrate well into a larger cabinet system.  The storage cabinet is small and utilizes precious wall and floor space
poorly.  As noted in the FAQ section, we feel that cabinets with rollers is not the best choice for most individuals.
